Welcome
and greetings to everybody.
This is Pastor Tsugumichi Ohkawa,
I
became a Christian when I was 13 years-old.
Since that day the Lord has revealed many
truths to me through His Word. There are still
many things that I am learning through God's
Word everyday, but one thing that I can say
for certain is that, in Christ, all minuses
will become a plus.
Romans, 8:28 says, "And we know that all
things work together for good to those who
love God, to those who are the called
according to His purpose. This means that
whatever may befall us in our lives, no matter
how terrible or difficult, if we will continue
to trust God through all the challenges, He
will transform us through all the negative
things that occur in our lives and use them to
bring about positive changes in us and the
world around us.
May God richly bless you and keep you. |

Welcome
to Yamato Calvary Chapel!
We
are an independent Christ centered Protestant
church with our faith firmly planted in the
Word of God. God's Word is highly evangelical.
It is also highly charismatic. For this
reason, our faith is a balanced reflection of
both the evangelical and charismatic nature of
the Word of God.
The
Lord has fed, empowered and admonished our
congregation for over 35 years through the
Bible centered teaching of our Senior Pastor,
Dr. Tsugumichi Ohkawa. He has tirelessly
continued to proclaim the Living Word of God,
and has encouraged us with our motto, "akaruku,
genki-de, nobi-nobi-toh."
- "Akaruku"
- The Gospel of Jesus Christ empowers us
to live with a bright and positive
attitude.
- "Genki-de"
- The Gospel of Jesus Christ enables us to
be encouraged and encouraging, empowered
and empowering.
- "Nobi-Nobi-toh"
- The Gospel of Jesus Christ enables us to
live at peace with ourselves, the world
around us and whatever circumstances may
befall us, as we entrust our lives in the
Lord's most capable hands.
Through
the Cross of Jesus Christ, there is no
"minus" that is so negative, that
God cannot transform it into a "plus"
(a positive) in our lives. | |
